This pricing platform provides objective and reasonable forward price and volatility curves for a wide range of locations and commodities that are not easily ascertained in today's marketplace due primarily to liquidity issues. Mark-It View forward price and volatility curves are developed using a strict set of procedural guidelines to provide the industry with an objective, reasonable pricing resource. Whenever possible, Mark-It View posts end of day bid and offer prices. For illiquid points of trade where this information is not available, RMI staff utilizes these market bids and offers to perform predetermined statistical and mathematical calculations to derive forward price and volatility curves.
Mark-It View daily prices and volatilities can easily be downloaded in Microsoft Excel or HTML formats to be used with in-house analytical spreadsheets and to ease and accelerate daily risk management tasks.
