Supply Side Assessment
RMI will review all electric and natural gas utility usage and billing for the express purpose of researching potential savings at no cost unless RMI saves your company money.
Service Functions
RMI will review all electric/gas accounts for changes in usage trends, billing errors, metering issues (i.e. opportunities to consolidate meters), lagging power factor, appropriate transformer size, minimum usage thresholds, and load management opportunities.
RMI will review all electric/gas accounts for accurate application of utility tariffs, franchise fees, fuel adjustments charges, state sales tax, special contract clauses, variances of utility terms and conditions, or other utility related services.
Deliverables
All necessary documentation for recovery of any supply-side and/or available tax relief will be prepared by RMI. Additionally, the customer will receive a final report with general comments and recommendations.
RMI will be compensated by receiving a percentage of the uncovered savings. Thereby, RMI will only receive payment if savings are uncovered.

Energy Bill Variance Audit
RMI will begin by establishing a database and base-line performance on all utility accounts.
At that point, RMI will audit each utility bill on a monthly basis for billing errors, inappropriate rate application, and consumption accuracy.
A monthly variance report will be produced for all accounts deviating from the established standards.

Energy Audit
This audit entails a comprehensive engineering level inventory of all electrical and/or natural gas equipment.
The energy survey categorizes and quantifies the annual usage and operational costs for each appliance by location and type (i.e. lighting, HVAC, domestic water heating, paint booths, refrigeration, office/admin, etc.) as compared to actual metered annual usage.
